This Payment Policy explains payment processing for purchases made from Notch & Key, operated by MDM Solutions.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on your country, device, currency, and checkout availability, Notch & Key may accept:
- Visa;
- Mastercard;
- American Express;
- PayPal;
- Apple Pay;
- Shop Pay;
- Cartes Bancaires (CB), where available;
- Other payment methods displayed at checkout.
The payment methods displayed at checkout for your order are the
authoritative list of options available to you.
2. Currency
Prices may be displayed in the currency configured for your country or market through our Shopify Markets settings.
Where local-currency checkout is supported by our payment configuration, you may also pay and receive eligible refunds in that market currency.
Where local-currency processing is not supported for a particular payment method, checkout may use the store's applicable default or market currency.
In all cases, the currency and final amount payable are displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.
If your card or payment account uses a different currency, your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or foreign-transaction fees. Those third-party charges are outside our control.
3. When Payment Is Taken
Unless checkout states otherwise, payment is authorized or captured when you place your order so that processing can begin.
An order may remain subject to payment authorization, fraud screening, and acceptance under our Terms of Service.
4. Payment Security
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers and ecommerce infrastructure using industry-standard security measures.
MDM Solutions does not intentionally store complete credit- or debit-card numbers on its own servers.
5. Taxes
Where required, sales tax, VAT, GST, or other taxes collected by us will be calculated, included, or displayed at checkout according to applicable law and the delivery market.
Customs duties, import taxes, or fees not collected at checkout may be payable separately. See our Shipping Policy.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
If payment is declined or cannot be authorized, the order may not be processed.
Please verify your billing information and available funds or use another payment method. Your bank or payment provider may be able to explain a decline originating from its systems.
7. Fraud Prevention and Verification
We use fraud-prevention measures to protect customers and our business.
An order identified as higher risk may be delayed while we perform reasonable verification. We may request additional information where necessary to verify that a transaction is authorized.
We may cancel and refund an order where we reasonably determine that it is unauthorized, fraudulent, or cannot be safely fulfilled.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
Refund eligibility and return procedures are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. After we initiate a refund, the time required for funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
